London-based artist Izzy S.O. has returned with the new single, ‘Silly Me’. It’s a hook-filled tune backed by layers of guitar and frequent changes of pace and vibe. It’s an expressive and poetic track that takes influences from the likes of Alanis Morisette and Avril Lavigne. She explains that the track “was written when emotions were on overdrive and it was easier to feel angry than to feel sad about losing someone that I not only loved but also shared an amazing friendship with. 'Silly Me' reflects on all the moments in that relationship where I wasn’t being honest about how certain things were making me feel.” Izzy S.O will be dropping more music over the course of 2023. -Dan Peeke
